Grounded are just another high school punk rock band from Southern California who play bland, predictable music with really cliche lyrics. There's really not a ton to say about "Revolution Jukebox" besides the fact that it's 10 tracks of boring punk rock.
The press sheet compares the band to acts like Sublime and Green Day, but I don't hear a resemblance at all. This band doesn't really deserve to be compared to such bands.
I don't see this band going anywhere. Their music is way too simple (think lots of palm muted power chords) and they just don't have "it" as far as I'm concerned. This CD is punishment to listen to. Enough said. |
