“Infinite Jest” is just that
I don’t like this band just because of the fact that they rip off Queen on track four, titled “Parody At The Masquerade.” The guitar sounds exactly like a Queen song whose title I cannot remember at the moment, and it’s pissing me off a lot because We Are The Fury keep repeating this guitar riff over and over again throughout this song.
Okay, that may sound really stupid, but this EP sucks anyway, so I don’t really care. “Infinite Jest” is five tracks of really annoying dance-driven pop with some nauseating vocals to top things off. The lyrics are stupid, the music is really bland and repetitive, and the CD layout is extremely plain and quite stupid. It just depicts some girl pulling up some stalkings on her legs. Fascinating. Thanks We Are The Fury. You just wasted 18 minutes of my time.
