Deathwish, Inc. adds some California to the mix
Hardcore label Deathwish, Inc. has signed two new California bands. One is Life Long Tragedy, who I don’t know too much about, and the second is Final Fight, who I’ve seen live a few times because they’re from Los Angeles.
Now I think it’s a bit weird that Final Fight got signed to Deathwish. The band is good, but they’re not amazing in my opinion, and I really don’t think they fit in with the rest of the Deathwish roster. I was beyond surprised when I saw the announcement that this band got signed to the Boston, MA label. So anyway, I’m interested in whether Final Fight will stay true to their roots here in LA, or if they’re just going to basically get big.
