How can I advertise with Laminated?
Just get in touch with us at the email address above and we'll work something out. We're cheap.
Can my band/label send you something to review?
We will review everything that is sent to us as long as it has all of the artwork/inserts/etc. with it and some info on the band/artist. A jewel case is not necessary with CDs (although it's preferred), but if you send a "promo copy" or don't include everything that the buyer will receive, then your stuff won't be reviewed. I don't want any CD-Rs with info scribbled on them either.
Also, don't send us your demos because they won't get reviewed, but we will listen to them. We prefer vinyl, but CDs, DVDs, tapes, etc. are fine as well.
I sent you something to review. Why isn't it on the website yet?
First, make sure you followed the rules in the previous question. If you have, then it will be reviewed. Sometimes it just takes us time to get through everything. Don't follow up with emails unless it's been over a month since you sent us something.
I'm in a band. Can I get interviewed for Laminated?
Email us. If we dig what you do, then the answer is yes.
What happened to all the old staff members and content?
People get lazy so we let them go. We get lazy so we don't feel like keeping all that pointless stuff to update. Instead, we went back to simplicity.
